SSC (Staff Selection Commission) has Issued the Important Notice Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying and Contract) Examination, 2016 Reschedule dates

Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying and Contract) Examination, 2016 was scheduled to be held on 8th, 9th & 12th December 2016. Due to administrative reasons, the dates of the Examination have been rescheduled to the second half of this month. The exact dates for the said examination would be made known to the candidates very shortly. SSC CGL Mains Exam 2016 Cancellation Notice

SSC (Staff Selection Commission) has Issued the Official Notification of Important Notice for CGL-2016 (Tier-II) examination.

The Organization conducted CGL-2016 (Tier-II) examination to be held on 01.12.2016 Due to some technical reason CGL-16(TIER-II) paper on 1st December 2016 is cancelled on Five examination venues. Candidates of CGL-2016 (Tier-II) Examination whose examination venues have been allotted as :

SSC Important Notice for CGL 2016

New Delhi, the 30th November 2016

In conformity with the commitment made by the Commission, the final result of Stenographers’ Grade C & D Examination-2015 will be declared today evening before 8 PM. The result of Written Examination of Stenographers’ Grade C & D Examination-2016 will also be declared on 1st December 2016 by 7 PM. The Combined Graduate Level Examination-2016 (Tier-II) is being conducted by the Commission in two Sessions per day between 30th November 2016 and 2nd December 2016 at 356 venues in 57 centres (cities) across the country. On day one, i.e. 30th November 2016, the Examination in the first Session has been conducted for approx 74,498 candidates at 351 venues in 57 centres (cities) across the country. The Examination has been conducted successfully without any untoward incidents for approx 71,094 candidates at 337 venues in 57 centres. However, some problems were reported at 14 venues, which are being examined by the Commission. Further details will follow.

Combined Graduate Level Examination – 2016- Submission of Multiple applications.

The candidates may please refer to the para (1) and Para (2) of important instructions given in elaborated scheme of above examination uploaded on the website of the Commission on 19.7.2016. For convenience of the candidates the above paras are reproduced here:-

(1) The Admission Certificate for Tier-I of examination will be uploaded on the website of the Regional Offices by 10th August, 2016. It may be noted that in case any candidate is issued admission certificate for more than one shift of examination, he / she shall immediately bring it to the notice of the concerned Regional Director, and ensure that he/she appears in only one shift of the examination.

(2) It is reiterated that in Tier-I each candidate will be allowed to appear in one shift at one centre only. If any candidate appears at more than 1 shift, his/her candidature will be cancelled and he/she would be debarred for a period of three years. (Para 21 (ix) of the notice)

In this context, it has been reported to the Commission that some candidates have filled up more than one application. With regard to this the candidates are advised to see the following provisions of sub para (IX) of para 21 of the Notice published on 13-2-2016:-

Only one online application is to be submitted by the candidates. In case of multiple online applications, the last application for which part-I and part-II registrations have been completed will be accepted. In view of above the candidates, who have filled up more than one application for the above mentioned examination, are directed to contact the concerned Regional Director/Dy Director latest by 5th August, 2016 with full details such as (1) Registration Numbers (2) Name (3) Father’s Name (4) Mother’s Name (5) Date of birth,

and (6 ) Permanent address as well as address given for correspondence in the application forms to withdraw the preceding (extra) application so as to ensure that he/she is issued only one Admission Certificate in reference to the last application submitted by him/her.

Candidates must ensure that they do not appear in Combined Graduate Level Examination-2016 (Tier –I) MORE THAN ONCE or else they would run the risk not only of their candidature being cancelled for CGLE-2016 but also of their being debarred from future examinations of the Commission for a period of three years.
